I’m a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon in Seattle. I work on the Amazon Payments platform, which handles more than $100 billion a year at more than 150,000 requests a second at peak.
I led the work that cut the recovery time from a payment processor outage by 90%, to less than one minute. Outside work, I build tools for AI agents. Here I write about distributed systems, payments and agentic AI.

- Fluidity: a research platform that finds investment themes across all company earnings calls, with one AI call per group of similar ideas instead of one per pair.
- Quill: a code editor for AI coding agents. It keeps each design decision in Git, next to the files it covers, and checks every change an agent makes against it.
